Canoes
Red River Outdoors provides quality canoe rentals for those who are looking fora little fun and adventure on the Red River. We can also provide rentals on Mill Creek Lake and the Kentucky River with advance notice. A variety of trips are available depending on the water levels and time of year. The Red River is Kentucky’s only National Wild and Scenic River (Season for the Red is from March - July). Experience the beauty and excitement of a canoe trip down one of nature’s finest with a canoe rental from Red River Outdoors. Canoes are only $50 per boat, per trip and kayaks are $35 per boat, per trip. Prices quoted are for the Middle Gorge only. The Middle Gorge is class I+. The trip is 8 miles and takes 3-5 hours. It is a very scenic and beautiful trip. This is a self-guided trip, but Red River Outdoors will provide the shuttle, launch, and pick up at the take out. We do not rent in the Upper Gorge but we will shuttle you if you have your own boat.

Kentucky River We offer group trips on the North, South and Middle Forks of the Kentucky River upstream from Beattyville. This is a beautiful part of rural Eastern Kentucky and it’s great for groups or fishermen. Possible overnight trips are available. Call or e-mail for additional information.
