Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is paintball safe?

A. Yes. Paintball is safe

Safety is our #1 concern. We want you to have fun, but even more important is your safety while doing so. All participants are required to wear protective goggles/masks for eye and face protection. All participants are required to safety meeting before any play begins. Instruction of equipment and rules of play are explained in detail. Experienced referee’s and staff are present in all field play to ensure safety. We are black and white with the rules.

Q. Does it hurt getting hit with a paintball?

A. It can sting a bit, but doesn’t last long. The farther away your opponet hits you, the less it stings. Most people expect it to hurt worse than it actually does.  It compares to getting snapped with a wet towel. The best thing to do is layer up with clothing. Also, all paintball markers are chronographed before any play to ensure all players are shooting at a safe speed.

Q. What should I bring?

A. You should wear loose fitting, old clothes. There is a chance you might get dirty! We provide the paintball marker, goggles, paint, tank & air, pods and harness, and instruction. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on location. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy the day!!

Q. Are paintballs harmful to the environment?

A. No. Paintballs are made of a gelatin capsule with a vegetable oil and food coloring fill.  They are non-toxic, bio-degradable, and water soluble. The “paint” easily washes from skin and clothing.

Q. Can my friends and family watch me play?

A. Yes. There are designated areas with netting for watching the games. However, once they see how much fun you’re having, they may want to play too!!

Q. What happens if it rains.

A. Games will continue through light rain. However, in cases of severe weather or lighting, referee’s will cancel or postpone games.

Q. How do you play paintball?

A. Once you’re here, you will be instructed on game play. We have many scenario’s and variations depending on the course. Capture the flag and role playing in the moonshiner/revenue course are a few. Most of the time, you’re objective is to just have fun and spray some paint!
